Gunderson 60' High Cube Plate F Boxcar Hopper Premium Instructions

The Gunderson 60' High Cube Plate F Boxcar is our first BMR model designed by Aaron Burnett.

The modern 100 ton, high-cube, 60’ boxcar has become ubiquitous in the modern rail scene. These cars are designed to carry a myriad of loads, from auto parts to forest products. These boxcars are a fixture to any modern freight train.

Aaron's design faithfully recreates this larger than life boxcar in LEGO. It will make a great addition to any modern freight train.

For this BMR Premium Instruction Kit, we are including  AAR 28 Roller Bearing tiles printed by Brick Print Studios. These tiles recreate the look of spinning roller bearings on the trucks the car. Eight tiles are included, enough to build one complete car, and more tile sets may be purchased separately.

Our premium instruction kit contains the following:

1 professionally printed instruction book with full color instructions, part list, prototype history, and building tips.

One complete set of Ball Bearing Wheel Sets (4 axles) with black bricks and wheels. Enough to build one car. These wheel sets come fully assembled, with ball bearings pre-installed in new LEGO® Technic bricks, custom sized axles to fit the bearings, washers to prevent wheels from rubbing the bricks and causing excess friction, and new LEGO train wheels.

Why use bearings? Because ball bearings provide excellent free rolling operation. Better than stock LEGO wheel sets. Less resistance means the rail car is easier to pull. And the easier a car is to pull the less strain on locomotives, and the more cars you can pull.

All you need to provide is the LEGO bricks from your own collection. Build the car in the color of your choice, or you can purchase decals to build the car in one of the following authentic railroad paint schemes bellow.
